Terms of sale and website use

1. About us

This website and store are operated by Calfab Limited, trading as Clesana Centre UK. Calfab Limited is registered in Scotland under company number SC702491. 2. Scope

These terms apply to use of clesanacentreuk.com and to purchases of products or services from us. They should be read with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy and any written installation quotation. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Product information

We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Colours and scale may vary by screen, and images may show optional accessories. Dimensions, compatibility, power requirements and included items should be checked before ordering. If you are unsure whether a Clesana product is suitable for your vehicle or application, use our Installation Check before ordering.

Clesana trademarks, product names and manufacturer materials belong to their respective owners. We are a Clesana-approved UK dealer and installer; we are not Clesana AG and cannot alter the manufacturer's specifications.

4. Orders and contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean we have accepted the order. A contract is formed when we send an acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or begin an agreed service. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance, for example because stock is unavailable, a price or description is materially incorrect, payment cannot be authorised or delivery is not available to the address. If payment has been taken, it will be refunded.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact, billing, delivery and vehicle information.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. Delivery, installation and optional accessories are charged separately unless expressly included. The total payable is shown before checkout or in a written quotation. Payment is handled through the methods offered at checkout.

6. Availability, backorders and delivery

Availability and lead times are estimates unless we expressly agree a fixed date. Products described as backordered, pre-order or shipping soon will be supplied when stock becomes available. Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Ownership passes when we receive payment in full; risk for consumer orders passes on delivery to you or your nominated recipient.

7. Installation and assessment

A website enquiry or installation check is an initial assessment and is not a guarantee of fitment or a binding quotation. Suitability may depend on inspection, measurements, the vehicle structure, electrical capacity and safe access. Any installation scope, price, location and date will be confirmed separately in writing. Additional work will not be charged without your agreement.

Please provide accurate information and do not conceal known defects or unsafe conditions. We may pause or decline work where it cannot be completed safely or in line with Clesana instructions. Unless your quotation states otherwise, vehicle repairs, structural alterations and unrelated electrical work are outside scope.

8. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Consumer cancellation rights and our returns process are explained in our Returns and Refunds Policy. Services requested to begin during a statutory cancellation period may be chargeable to the extent already performed, where you have expressly requested the early start. This does not affect rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or unfit goods or services.

9. Product use, safety and manuals

Follow the current Clesana operating and installation instructions. Do not open sealed housings, modify safety systems or attempt repairs unless authorised. Electrical installation should be carried out by a suitably competent person. Use compatible power supplies, accessories and genuine Clesana consumables where specified. Improper installation, unauthorised modification or use of unapproved consumables may affect performance and may invalidate a manufacturer warranty.

10. Warranty and statutory rights

Any manufacturer warranty is in addition to, not a replacement for, your statutory rights against us as retailer. Warranty eligibility and exclusions are governed by the manufacturer terms supplied with the product. Contact us first with your order number, serial number, fault description and supporting photos or video. Do not send or dismantle a product until instructed.

11. Our responsibility

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of statutory consumer rights.

We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business loss suffered by a consumer, or for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, provided we take reasonable steps to minimise the effect. Nothing here prevents you using any remedy available under law.

12. Website use and third-party links

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. Site content is for general information and does not replace product-specific instructions or a professional installation assessment. Links to Clesana, YouTube or other third-party sites are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms and privacy practices.

13. Personal information

We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Shopify and payment providers process information needed to operate checkout and fulfil orders.

14. Changes

We may update these terms for future orders or website use. The terms in force when your order is accepted will apply to that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you also retain any mandatory protections of the law where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
